The Challenge
Silverstone required a high-performance racing surface capable of meeting the demands of international motorsport.
Tarmac was selected to deliver the specialist resurfacing project, using advanced asphalt technology, digital construction methods and precision paving techniques.
The challenge was to capture the scale, detail and engineering behind the project while documenting the technology and expertise required to resurface an iconic Grand Prix circuit.
What We Did
Highways Industry and Highways Drone Services worked with Tarmac to capture the project through professional video, photography and drone technology.
Our team created cinematic visuals showing the resurfacing process, specialist equipment and the people delivering the project.
Drone technology was also used to provide valuable aerial data, helping review the circuit surface and identify areas requiring attention during the programme.
The content captured drone surveys and aerial mapping, cinematic project filming, professional photography, construction progress footage, specialist surfacing operations, and digital content for internal and external communications.
The Result
The project created a complete visual record of one of the most prestigious resurfacing schemes in the UK.
